Extra space for TT bikes. Less bike to take apart.

Designed for modern TT, triathlon and aero bikes — including large frames, long aero bars and integrated cockpits. For many bikes, that means far less disassembly before a flight.

Room for big TT setups

Bike Box Alan describes the Maxx as having the largest usable interior space of any bike box, with extra room for long aero bars and integrated cockpits.

Pack in minutes

For many bikes, wheels and pedals are all that come off. Bars, saddle height and often a hydration system can stay as you set them.

Hard-shell protection

A rigid shell, padding, secure straps and an anti-crush pole help protect your bike through airport handling.

Easy to move

Casters and handles for the terminal. It passes airport X-ray, and the maker says it fits most small hatchbacks.

What reviewers say about the Aero Easyfit, the smaller sibling of the Maxx: 220 Triathlon found most riders only need to remove wheels and pedals, and noted the larger size makes rough handling less likely. Cyclingnews tested the range's largest case on a trip to Mallorca, and the wide end let the handlebars stay on.

The diagrams show a bike inside the case with the maximum measurements. Measure your bike, enter the numbers below and see what, if anything, needs to come off. Leave blank what you have not measured.

Letters match the maker's diagrams, which show exactly where to measure. Figures are a general guide. See the official sizing page, or send us your bike model and we will check with you.

Rule of thumb from the maker: riders up to 180 cm on a road or tri bike usually remove only wheels and pedals. Taller riders may also lower the seatpost or remove the rear derailleur, and with a long reach shorten the aero bars (about 4 small Allen screws).

From empty case to packed bike

For most bikes, packing is three moves: take off the wheels and pedals, lay the frame in the foam, strap the wheels into place.

Example from the Easyfit range. Our case is the navy Easyfit Maxx. Exact packing varies by bike, and larger frames may need a few extra adjustments. Instructions are printed inside the lid. To unpack, reverse the order, refit wheels and pedals, pump the tyres and check brakes and bolts before you ride.

Bike case rental FAQ

Where is pickup and return?

Pickup and return are in downtown Vancouver. The exact meeting details are shared after your rental is confirmed.

How do I pay?

By Interac e-Transfer after we confirm availability. The refundable deposit is paid the same way and returned the same way.

What do I need at pickup?

Photo ID that matches the name on your booking, and your payment confirmation. We document the condition of the case itself at pickup and again at return.

Will it fit in my car?

The case is 133 cm long. The maker says it fits most small hatchbacks. Fold the rear seats and check your boot size before pickup.

Can I fly with it?

It is a standard hard bike case and passes airport X-ray. Airline rules for bike boxes differ, so check your airline's sports equipment policy against 133 × 94 × 50 cm and 13.8 kg empty.

Do I need to take my bike apart?

Usually only wheels and pedals. Use the fit checker above, or send us your bike model.

What if the case gets damaged?

Normal travel scuffs are expected. Damage beyond normal wear, such as cracks, broken latches or missing parts, may be deducted from the refundable deposit based on the repair or replacement cost. Late returns may be charged because they can affect the next booking.
